How to Join Live Military mode-s

Joining

The only way to get a username and password for this site is by sharing mode-s data. By running the LMMS software, all mode-s codes and call signs you receive will be forwarded to this website in real-time.

What do you need?

Windows Based
  • ✓ Device with SBS data on port 30003
  • ✓ .NET Framework 4.8
Raspberry / Linux Based

Tips

Location (1)
You don't have to share your exact location. You can provide an indication, e.g., Italy, G, IT or East Coast, UK.

Location (2)
Much of the site is automated. Please check the Abbreviations For Country and use the correct codes.

How to get started On-line

  1. Download the LMMS software: here
  2. Unzip setuplmmsv08.zip
  3. Run the Setup.exe

Configuration

  1. In LMMS V02, click Connect, then Stop Logging
  2. Click File, Settings
  3. Enter your location (e.g. "Naaldwijk, NL"). Use Country Abbreviations .
  4. Click OK
  5. Click Connect, then Start Logging

When the first mode-s codes are received, your location should appear on the website. Check locations online: here .

During the migration to the new server it could take an extra minute to see your location online.
